Week 2 Assignment #3
Backward design is a planning
framework with the goal already in mind.
It is important that goals be kept in view by getting the content and performance
to “blend” this will to improve learning engagement. In order for long-term goals to be reached,
an educator must make sure that the short-term plans are on right path leading
up to the long-term goal. Creative and
critical content should be presented to students to help engage learning. The backward design model also describes the
use of textbooks as resources that are prioritized based on the goal that is
trying to be obtained.
